SignVote began from a single idea: that deaf voices matter.

The mission is to keep deaf communities informed and engaged in U.S. elections by fostering political conversations and civic education through American Sign Language. The Center for Democracy in Deaf America at Gallaudet University is in the process of running this platform. 

Communication Services for the Deaf, Inc. (CSD) started the SignVote project for the 2016 election. We thank them for starting this important work that we look forward to continuing.
